i thrift specifically because it’s the most accessible way for me to get my hands on vintage and the kind of fabrics that are most flattering. typical fast fashion is thin polyester, which tends to cling in awkward places. quality knits, cotton, and linen are always going to be more flattering because of the way they drape and create a nice silhouette fast fashion clothing also tends to have shoddy seam work, which also leads to it sitting awkward on curves
