To my recent grads, Idk who needs to hear this but not everyone who graduated is making 70K, 80K, 100K+. Many people are unemployed, or not using their degree, or not being paid well. And while I don’t wanna say this is fair, you’re certainly not alone ❤️

The people who get a job straight out of college making a full time salary with 401K match and a Roth with dental insurance are NOT who you need to be comparing yourself to. Compare you to past you, and always make the right next decision FOR YOU!

I’m working in my field that I want to go into (vaguely) and I’m making about 40-41k BUT it’s a night job so I’m working 8:30 pm to 7 am. And it took months for me to get this job and I’m trying to get on normal hours again

I waited 6 months after graduation to start a year long internship that pays $19 an hour. I’m almost through and starting to search for what’s next. I’m discouraged🫩
