The crazy part about it is they love Trump. They helped put Trump in office. Like, I remember when the election was happening and all you saw was Latinos for Trump, and I’m like, dude.

Okay, so let me break down what I’m trying to say. Every time Florida has a natural disaster, they always rely on other states to help them. Yet the very politicians in Florida that are supposed to help them aren’t doing anything to help them, removing funding, not supplying resources, not helping these folks get back on their feet. Like when are you gonna learn?

And it’s not even natural disasters. It’s the fact that most of the population in Florida are people of color. Yet Ron is trying to make it illegal to be a part of the LGBTQIA+ plus community. He’s taking African American history out of the schools. He supports Donald Trump and mass deportation. He literally wants to build a prison next to Disney.

Girl i know how it works i specialized in natural hazard risk reduction in high school. All states need federal intervention for disasters as devastating as hurricanes. Their regressive state government is making people more vulnerable yes and that needs to stop but punishing the vulnerable for the actions of the regressive powerful never makes anything better

Trust me, it’s no different in my community. I’m a Black woman, and to see so many Black people vote Republican and help put Trump in office is crazy to me. I’m like, you guys don’t see the things he says about us, the things he has done to our community. That’s why I hope Texas flips blue because most of Texas population is Black Americans and Latinos.
