me and my boyfriend at the moment have sex at least twice everytime we go on a date (he always initiates). we see eachother like once a week and idk if it feels normal? id say i have a high sex drive but i also dont like having sex all the time because it just feels like an activity now rather than us actually connecting ykwim? im thinking of asking him if we could take a break from it.

I think telling him that you want to take a break is completely normal!!! It’s an intimate special thing and you don’t want to make it a thing you do or a part of your routine, it’s not meant to be that!!!

My ex thought we would have sex the night before his great aunts funeral so he can “ease” his mind… and when I said no he got pissed and kicked me out of his dorm room. All bc it was his only aunt that was on hospice for three months, when mind you, my healthy ass nurse of an aunt dropped dead one day in December… and I didn’t need sex for that.
