just learned that the guy im talking to lowkey lied about his grad date? he said he would graduate this spring (2027) but then today said idk when im graduating could be winter of 27 or spring of 28. like hello?

Plans change. Degree sequencing changes. I don’t think he lied, I think he either didn’t realize or something happened. Nothing to look into I’d say

this happened to me and it’s not super crazy or uncommon, I had an advisor that promised I’d have all my classes I needed to graduate even if they just had me in them and then he left. had to take a whole ass extra year. sometimes shit with advisors goes haywire. I knew a guy whose advisor ghosted him and he took the wrong classes bc he didn’t know

i only even slightly care bc he’s a year younger than me but i took gap years from school so like, my late graduation is lowkey a little more reasonable, im not sure what his deal is but also he’s gonna graduate w a business degree and idk what tf you do with that..

i’m genuinely not trying to hate on that degree, it’s just that he doesn’t seem to have true plans post-grad (i do and value that in a relationship), and why backtrack on something you said to me unless it was a lie & is something you avoid talking about in general already? idk it’s just questionable to me

Agreed, that’s something I’d value in a relationship too. But also I feel like he prolly didn’t realize he was lacking credits or failed a class in the spring or some guys are actually dumb and don’t check their degree planners n shit online😭 very valid tho, I get wym now
