Do u want airlines to start asking people for weight? Like how do u accurately want to make sure everyone is accommodated? As this skin your person should I lie about my weight online when purchasing a ticket so I automatically get two seats.? or should someone be weighed at the airport in front of everybody? And then have a skinny person kick kicked off the flight because there’s not enough seats for them.

Like maybe we could advocate for discounts or something, but I don’t think that’s fair when a skinny person would have to pay full for a single seat and the airline would lose less money because a normal person would have to pay for two seats so why should the world accommodate that?

as a smaller person, it isn’t fair for me to have to pay full price for a seat that i’m pretty much having to share because the bigger person next to me doesn’t fit in their own. they should either pay for the extra room, or the price of my seat should be halved.
