and it’s so annoying when i see people say stuff like “I’m actually becoming a misandrist” because NO YOURE NOT!!! misandry doesn’t exist, it’s meant to be a rhetorical counterpart to misogyny meant to downplay its impact. we need to take ts more seriously.

you cannot separate the term from its origins, it inherently claims to be as deep as misogyny. your intent does not matter, you still give it credibility, especially since you authentically identify with it.
