I think she was trying to imply I was acting boujee or uppity but I don’t understand why it’s bad to want to use a grater for ease when cooking? I’ve zested orange with a knife and it’s hard, I’m doing that shit bc it takes too long 😩

Why is acting boujee a white person quality? I think your mom was just having a bad day or something. Or she’s impressed by your cooking skills and that was the first comment that came to mind. I don’t think it truly had anything to do with race and how they act stereotypically at all
