As long as you aren’t in new York or California, the protests should be safe for the most part. But definitely go with someone you know and bring a little emergency bag with you (like snacks, water, masks, first aid kit).

Definitely check the area that you’ll be going to to see if there will be a high police or military presence and what more local people recommend bringing then!
