Honestly I never see comments like this as that helpful. You’re not saying “it’s okay not to fit the beauty standard”, you’re saying “it’s okay, I’m sure you secretly DO fit the beauty standard! Think how awful it’d be if you didn’t!”

Girl I’m on the chunky side myself but I’ve come to realize I see myself bigger than i actually am and it’s comments like that from friends and family that help me see how beautiful i actually am and not what my mind makes up. It’s not actually about what your size is but how you see yourself.
