i think it’s weird when it’s some kind of copying and they are attempting to be you. it’s very different to be like “oh i love your leather jacket. i’ve been interested in them for some time. i think i will go buy one.” or “hey lets buy these things together and match!” versus changing your outfit to a carbon copy of your friends after you saw what they were wearing

speaking from experience 😭 no longer friends with that person bc i became friends with her for her personality and self and not to be friends with a less interesting me

Yeah I understand someone fully mirroring u to be weird. I’m definitely focused on your first example where someone maintains their sense of self n just thinks certain things you have r cool as ik some ppl find that to be offensive. I had a friend who dyed her hair the same color as mine and started wearing certain things I’d wear, n I was like hell yeah girl we look so cute
