unless you really only want a macbook, i suggest a lenovo. i have the lenovo yoga and it’s FANTASTIC. it IS touchscreen but i think you can turn the touchscreen off if you want.

from experience i had a macbook air but after 3 years it stopped running things that well, mainly games but even macos apps started to lag. you’ll probably notice way later especially if you’re only using writing apps but i feel like it is not a laptop meant for longevity

and with the neo being “the budget option” i feel like it’ll be much worse
