I think it would depend on the thickness of the yarn that you use and how large you’d want it to be🤔

Not for temperature blanket specifically, but you might be cursing yourself by March for choosing a single crochet to do an entire blanket

i was thinking 5.5 mm hook and yarn and big enough to sleep under so like 5x5 ish feet?
