It’s wild how different everyone’s perception of time is. Like when my friends talk about a 45 minute drive they make it sound extremely far and way too long for them to drive whereas that’s my daily commute and doesn’t seem that long or too far to me

I felt this. As someone who had a 2 hour one way commute every weekend for 10+ years (divorced parents) I find it so odd when people think 45-1.5 hours away is so far. Like in reality you can make that many times in one day. Even 4 hour car rides don’t seem that bad to me

Yeah exactly. And I used to live in a big city so with traffic, 45 minute drives were very normal for me. Now I live in small town
