i have the vaccine (it doesn’t protect against all types btw) and my mom made me get it because i have a higher risk of developing cervical cancer. highly recommend fr.

It was recommended at mine but not a requirement so i think it depends on your district, unfortunately *certain* parents think it’ll encourage sex, its so stupid and backwards

my schools literally just taught us to abstain. nothing abt stds or safe sex, what a condom was, things to look out for, what consent was, hormones or anything like that. our lesson was getting a gummy worm and if we didn’t eat it for a month we would wait till marriage 😵‍💫 apparently they used to teach actual sex ed but a bunch of parents complained and the district took it out

Wow that’s nuts I’m sorry. I do come from a very liberal region tho. My teacher would make us yell vagina and penis to each other to desensitize the words 😭 then she would walk around the class in a handstand
