now that my ex and i aren’t together i don’t have to watch anime in english anymore!! in a lot of anime’s there’s always one voice actor who sounds like those freaky mha tiktok cosplayers and i can’t stand it at all it makes me cringe so hard bro

i will say if you play video games, english dubs done by the uk clear because they get theatre actors instead of a small pool of va’s, so we got stuff like the xenoblade trilogy, dragon quest, final fantasy 16 (& tactics), and metaphor refantazio

see some anime dubs are like incredible like imo witch hat atalier has amazing english voices with the accents they’re so good! no weird deku voice! but sometimes japanese has so much more emotion to it idk
