isn’t the whole point of feminism that we can do things as well as men can, and that we should be treated as equal? so like having and acknowledging that you have a team of all women to seem special kind of sets us back because it’s portraying that as out of the norm

I personally do think it would be cool if everyone chose to talk about the members without mentioning their gender, but since so many people are already discussing their gender in negative ways, it’s important that others celebrate their gender to show that hiring qualified women also brings supporters and not just detractors

I did watch his announcement and introduction of them this morning and I remember a few minutes after he started taking questions I suddenly realized they were all women, looked it up to confirm & that’s how I knew. I don’t think he made that a talking point, the media did, but I do think it was a very intentional move on his part and I don’t hate it.
