I get you :/ I moved to a new city with my partner and wanted it to be my fresh start. I’m autistic but I mask well, at least I thought I did, but one of my coworkers indirectly called it out immediately. I heard her saying I’m “off” and “antisocial”, even though I try very hard to be social and nice. It really sucks being the new person, but I hope you can find your people soon

I’m so sorry :(( there will always be nasty, mean people even in their 40s and on. You just have to understand that they’re unhappy with whatever’s going on in their lives and you’re new and an easy target for them, so try not to let it get to you too much.

True. I struggle with anxiety and honestly I majorly struggle with socializing. I'm also "off" and "antisocial" to others so I get it. I'm hoping it gets easier but it feels suffocating at times
