wtf happened to trick or treating bro i swear when i was a kid there were literally hundreds of us all over the place and we were all cramming on porches and shit but we barely got any trick or treaters this year ☹️

the trunk or treat or whatever the fuck took over. they were doing trunk & treat at like 10am in my town 🫩and all the kids were at the dealerships or school parking lots

when i was a kid i would do those halloween trick or treating events and shit because they were always in the days leading up to halloween or earlier in the day and then i’d go trick or treating on halloween night to maximize the amount of candy i got 😭

when i was a kid there used to be like 10 blocks of a neighborhood completely blocked off / no cars were allowed to be parked on the street for halloween and then all the kids could run safely across the street to all of the houses.
