any tips for recent college graduates adjusting to life after? I hate to sound like a cry baby but I miss it so much already and it’s only been two months. it was such a special and nostalgic time & grieving it has been super hard. very grateful tho!!

i graduated last year and i still miss it every day. you’ll find a spot for yourself and build a new life, just let it happen and welcome all the new experiences of full adulthood!

It’s hard. I graduated a year ago and I still miss college like crazy. I would do grad school if it weren’t so expensive. But give it some time. The first few months are especially rough, but you’ll start to adjust to your new reality. It took me months to rebuild my social life and now I feel like I have plenty of great friends. Work can be exhausting but just remember you’re getting paid. Work funds the fun you do outside of work, and if you end up enjoying your job, then great!

I will say that I’m now able to spend more money on things I really enjoy and get excited about. I used to be so cheap but now I feel like I can spend a little (I live with my mom so I’m not spending a ton on necessities). I’m going to more concerts, meeting my favorite professional athletes, and other exciting stuff that I probably would’ve skipped a few years ago. Make sure you always have something to look forward to, even if it’s something small
