I feel like 2026 is my baddie era. Like I’ve been obese since childhood and this year so far I’ve lost 43 lbs. The issue is that now I need to actually get my shit together and figure out skin and hair so if anyone has tips please recommend.

Like as a gym girly my hair is oily all the damn time. The whole summer it has been in a claw clip. And I wanna use dry shampoo but I feel like it’s too crimped all the time idk how to describe it but it’s dry at the end and looks weird. Then for my face I have a strawberry nose so I want to fix that but idk how anymore

43lbs congrats baddie! i had the same issue but i started using a clarifying shampoo every once in a while and because it totally strips everything, i feel like my hair gets less oily now. i suggest trying that and using the olaplex dry shampoo. also try giving yourself a trim every so often to keep ur ends healthy and use a little bit of oil on them to keep them smooth

So I use head and shoulders. I wash my hair every 3-4 days as needed. I just get too busy sometimes and it’s been summer where I literally work part time, I’ve asked for more hrs but they gimme 2 days a week and it sucks. But anyways, since I don’t go anywhere besides the gym my hair is in a claw clip and it’s oily. I literally wear the same gym clothes to the gym for 1-3 days unfortunately and I take a shower everyday but don’t use lotion and don’t have skin care. Like I just wanted to lose

Weight this summer so badly that I can’t do anything else. I’m trying to make a schedule and routine for myself now cuz I’m gonna be doing my masters in the fall. But everything I can think of is getting too expensive. Like I be using head and shoulders then my normal shampoo and conditioner but nothing is working and I have so many other issues that I’m like I don’t care that much like it’s not a priority rn but it should be

you’ve gotta change your mindset for sure. losing weight is a HUGE accomplishment and i applaud you for that. and while i can see that that was your main goal, now you wanna start putting more into yourself. you can start small like changing your hairstyles. maybe try some ponytails, buns, braids. these are good especially since you go to the gym often. also i promise u dont have to invest a lot into different products. i get my shampoo and other hair products from marshall’s and tj maxx for

the low. start figuring out a skincare routine that works for you as well bc i see you mentioned that too! cerave is a good face wash and just get whichever one you need (oily skin, dry skin, etc) and don’t test out too many facial products at once. i personally use medicube as a sensitive, acne prone girly and it does wonders. i would definitely research whatever your skin needs tho!

you definitely don’t need to just jump straight into a set routine. start small and work your way up to finding whatever works for u!

Yeah I’m definitely trying. This summer has just been insane cuz my grandfather passed. Tbh I miss him but not like bawl my eyes out. It’s just he was in hospice for 3 years in our second living room, I mean we had strangers taking care of him and in our house 24/7. We didn’t clean the house like organize it for 3-4 years cuz of this. So now we’re getting rid of things and my mother doesn’t understand that things expire and u need to get rid of expired things so I can’t go on buying things

It just seems that whatever products I use, they’re not helping and I’m just at a loss cuz I don’t want to and nor can I afford to waste any more money on products. This goes for my hair and skin. My hair is oily on top and so frizzy on the bottom then my skin idk anything abt it. Like it’s oily sure but then I shower everyday so it’s dry but it’s oily naturally and I have big pores
