I’ve always said that the friend zone doesn’t really exist. It implies that women are simply gatekeepers to romantic outcomes, instead of acknowledging that a relationship is determined by *her choice* and *her attraction* to someone.
The concept of men saying they got friendzoned pmo. Y’all are missing out on some amazing friendships with women, all because you can’t comprehend platonically spending time w one unless it’s to try and date her. Why are there always ulterior motives?

Like dude there is no friend zone. I just don’t feel that way about you and there is no amount of work that will make me like you any differently. You’re not stuck. 💀

It genuinely feels so manipulative too especially if you actually wanted to be friends and then they put you on the spot by confessing and trying to make you feel bad for not reciprocating as if it wasn’t low for them to already be trying to get with you knowing you only want friendship

Yah I hate when people make the excuse “well he’s a man and you’re a woman. Men and women can’t be friends without romance happening” yeah tf they can, if I can be attracted to girls without falling in love with all my lady friends, they could too

No literally like I wantED to be friends but you thought I wanted to kiss cause I said more than small talk and now I’m uncomfortable and I feel like you are just trying to convince me to like you and you won’t really want to be friends with me now.

And then it’s like can you even think of me as a friend? Or am I just an object of desire to you?

The guilt is so real and so unfair. 😭

No literally. Guys that were my friends, they've asked me out and l've said no, and now we aren't friends cause they liked me for one reason and it’s so annoying like do you not understand how to have friends? Your horny or now love me cause I asked you more questions and didn’t just make small talk???

One time I was having a convo with a guy that was my friend who agreed to be platonic friends as well and he literally tried to gaslit me into thinking there was sexual tension because I was giving him “fuck me eyes” while I was just making eye contact while listening to what he was saying. I was so creeped out I cut him off immediately
