Well tbh I don’t think she cares about what her family would approve of if she went ahead and took the job. She’s probably just doing what’s best for her at this point in her life, just continue to be supportive as her friend. I feel that’s best in this situation.

Its degrading if youre misogynistic about it. Being a SWERF is not helping those in the sex entertainment industry and only makes the industry more dangerous by encouraging the tabooness. Hey, I’m not here to argue. I was just trying to understand why the OP felt weird about her friend’s choice to do exotic dancing. I don’t think stripping is all bad, but it’s a topic that people have different perspectives on and I understand that. Women now have the right to do whatever they please and I’m all here for it! so is stripping lol. stripping is a service you provide for money that provides time and skill and labor. just like any other job. treating sex work as if it’s some completely different kind of work is anti sex positivity and hurts people who do sex work.
