I’m 22 and have had 2 done and TRUST they aren’t bad. It can be uncomfortable bc there’s someone literally inspecting your vagina but it really doesn’t hurt. If you’ve had sex, the speculum shouldn’t be an issue either, it’s no bigger than the average pp

As a lesbian that never receives I was also terrified. It was absolutely fine, a few seconds of being uncomfortable. It shouldn’t hurt and if it does voice that. The doctor I went to was amazing, I truly think that’s what makes the difference. She was extremely attentive to my needs.

and also, if you haven’t had sex, let the doctor know and they should have a thinner speculum that won’t be as painful. the regular one was excruciating for me, the virgin one was just a little uncomfortable.
