saline sinus rinse, hot steamy shower, and humidifier if you have one! also sudafed from behind the counter, you don’t need a prescription for it, but the sudafed over the counter in the regular aisles is proven to not work.

it never works for me 😭 then i looked it up and i guess the active ingredient phenylephrine works best topically as a nasal spray, but not as good systemically through a pill. i swear the sudafed behind the counter with pseudoephedrine is a miracle worker and makes it feel like my cold is cured (until it wears off)

i swear by it to everyone. it’s one of the few cold medicines that actually has a noticeable difference in my symptoms so it makes my cold feel manageable
