I SHOULD PROB MENTION THIS ISNT ABT A GUY. Well, okay one is a guy but he’s a janitor who works at the same marketplace as me and we’re friends and he doesn’t take no to treating me to food as an option (my friend said it’s cause in Indian culture or smth, adults tend to want to make sure the youth are well fed).

um so this applied to my situation yesterday while i was at my work. i was trying to do my job properly, and i told this person, no i have to do this first, and they just kept on doing what they were doing anyways. so i had to physically body block them to stop them from doing what they were doing so i could do my job correctly. some people are tone deaf istg

This is the current situation, but I’ve found myself in quite a few situations where I’ve made my intentions or wants clear and it feels like even when I enforce them I’m not… getting through? And I don’t know what to do with people like that esp when they’re my friends.
