This is hard but my mom is recovering from cancer and needs a job she’s been applying but no one is hiring her can anyone give advice or tips?

I don’t have great advice because the job market is horrendous for everyone right now, but if she’s mentioning her cancer at all I’d advise her to stop. It’s fucked up but employers will overlook candidates with health problems, past or present, because they’re more likely to need sick days. She’s not legally obligated to disclose anything of that nature.

i know people who survey and go to peoples houses and ask about who they’re voting for in the next election. i know it’s touchy but my friend makes $22 an hour

She’s hasn’t been saying that. She’s just been applying to jobs

Mmmm yeah :/ my only other piece of advice then is to write a cover letter for each job (assuming these aren’t like fast food jobs or whatever). It makes a resume stand out much more. Also, don’t apply through job listing sites, go to the direct website.
