they had to take her to the hospital:( she was still alive after 40 minutes, likely due to a collapsed/rolling vein. something similar happened to an inmate on death row in oklahoma, he could basically feel everything because the sedative failed due to a collapsed vein. which it awful because apparently the potassium chloride (third dose) is the mostly painful part since it’s what stops the heart 😬

nope! they had no protocol to administer a third dosage either. there’s a high likelihood she still suffered a heart attack (potassium chloride) or she’ll face debilitating mental handicap because she didn’t die

one was granted probation for admitting to being an accessory to murder, the other (pike’s then-boyfriend) was given a life sentence for acting as an accomplice. pike was the only one given the death penalty
