hi i obviously don’t know your story, but i just wanted to share that double jeopardy only applies when ur trying to charge him for the same incident in multiple jurisdictions. it does not apply if he commits the same crime repeatedly. he can be charged again if it’s more than one instance. if he was acquitted and evidence has been brought forth since the trial that shows without a doubt that he committed the crime then you may be able to appeal. if he was found not guilty you can’t tho

Unfortunately it was for murder and his family knew the judge. It’s been 21 years since. It’s just bullshit that nothing ever happened and it’s not something we could even pursue. I just hate the “justice” system.
