This is why I push pet insurance is so hard especially on my parents for the next time they get a cat. Inevitably and unfortunately, something is going to happen. The insurance will lessen the blow in that very unfortunate moment

I have a cat who had a urinary blockage and it almost killed him. We spent a lot of money. He got it again, too

Do you have a place you recommend for pet insurance? I only looked into it briefly before but at the time the one I found didn’t cover anything until you had already paid several thousand out of pocket and at that point it seemed better to just personally set aside money each month.

Unfortunately, that’s just how insurance is. Usually have to pay a certain amount to start getting coverage. I had the same thing happened to one of my medication‘s. I had to pay at least $1000 or something before they started covering the medication
