First date should NOT be at his house. A group setting is not a weird first date, keeping it a public situation while remaining able to talk to him and get to know him is ideal

if u want it to be a group setting u could do bowling or play pool at a bar

i mean that sounds fun but since its a first date i would recommend making sure yall will have time to bond and get to know each other than talking to ur friends all night
