Fearing for my friend life tn because her boyfriend threatened to kill her. The police came, wrote a few words and did nothing. They are still in the house together… this is how women die

In NYS you can lock ur own belongs in a room even if the house is shared. Breaking the lock or tampering is considered criminal mischief
