Anybody here have PCOS and can explain stuff to me? Doctor thinks I might have it but I’m not sure if it’s that or depression

PCOS has 3 diagnostic criteria; you need 2 for a diagnosis: irregular periods, high androgens, polycystic ovaries. While mental health can absolutely be a result, it’s not used to diagnose. Is that the only reason they suspect PCOS right now?

No it was based on looking on hormonal levels and irregular periods. Mental health has just gotten worse depending on how irregular my period is.
