on the note of having no idea how my body actually looks it’s fucking crazy bro i started working out like 3 days ago and i already see visual results but idk if it’s just the dysmorphia or my body is remembering i was an athlete and is morphing quick
being a size 4 jean but looking like i’m 4 months pregnant when i don’t suck my stomach in is such a mind fuck. i have no perception of how my body actually looks

that explained it so badly but apparently if you used to be an athlete and you like gain weight and then start working out again it’s easier to get back into shape because that’s what your body is used to and i was a competitive gymnast i had an 8 pack when i was 6 up until i was 16 my body is ready

No I’m the same way. I’m 5’4” 190lbs but my weight distributes so secretly bc people don’t believe me when I say I’m that heavy. I’m definitely not skinny but I feel like I don’t look obese either. And I ge the working out thing, I’ve been doing at home workouts more and already feel like my butt is a little perkier after just like a couple weeks. I have to look at pics of me with other people to get a better idea of what I actually look like size wise

Like oh I don’t think this person looks overweight at all and we’re the same size in pics so I must not actually be that big
