Girls who love snacking how do you start intermittent fasting? I’ve heard it’s good for you and I want to try it but I just love to snack on top of my doctor telling me I should be eating smaller snacks instead of 3 big meals due to stomach issues :/

if your doctor wants smaller meals they probably don’t want you to do intermittent fasting

I do a 13 hour fast. I stop eating after 8 pm and then don’t eat again till 9am. Most of it I’m asleep. And if I eat at 9pm I won’t until 10am. Etc.

My problem is that I snack into the night like far too close to bedtime and it gives me indigestion which is exactly what my doctor is trying to get me to avoid but I’m like addicted to snacking so that’s why I want to try it 🫠

Did you find it difficult in the beginning? I’m afraid my willpower might be too low after like day 3

I find it difficult sometimes, but then it makes me go to sleep earlier because if my stomach starts to growl, I just go to bed. And then I don’t wake up until kind of late so then I’ve been asleep for the whole time so I’m not really feeling it so it’s easier. And I’m getting better sleep because of it.

yeah I have that problem too sometimes. I try to switch to gentler foods because I also will wake up in the night from low blood sugar. it’s hard to balance the two
