does anyone skip their bc placebo and if so do you recommend? i used to not get a period at all on bc but now i get one during my placebo week so i’m thinking of skipping it

no, I have my period, and I don’t think you should skip it. it’ll be a way smaller one than usual too so it’s not that bad

your prescription will run out early if you do that, just ask your doctor for continuous bc instead! it won’t have the placebo week but will still have a full months worth of actual pills

It’s safe to do so but honestly I just feel weird not having one? like this is what my body does and it’s not causing me any pain so I just let it do its thing

ah ok fair enough, maybe i’ll give it a few months and see. i went on the pill for my periods bc they were debilitatingly painful but so far they’ve been light and not painful. its just annoying cuz i went like 5 years without a period even taking the placebos and it was really nice lol

that sounds awesome! I also really like using a cup when I do have my period, it makes management much easier

if mine were still debilitating I would definitely be skipping them but mostly now it’s like. oh hey there’s my period. ok now it’s over bye lol
