Just make sure he doesn’t suck on the squeeze pouch. I remember them telling me the pressure created by sucking can fuck up the stitches.

Not for the first 24-48 hours, the anesthesia they give you for that procedure hits HARD. The dentists give you strict instructions to have someone drive you home and keep an eye on you for at least that long.

Fr it’s pretty much standard to have a patient monitored for a couple days after a surgery partly because of the anesthesia still being in their system. The only difference here is wisdom teeth removals aren’t performed in hospitals typically so the patients have to be sent home. I don’t know how someone can get this far in life and not know that.

Oh he doesn’t have a habit of sucking on those pouches that’s good. I do so I had to consciously keep myself from doing it out of habit.
