My dorm is in Chinatown as a disclaimer I went to a supermarket and got a bag of rice and the cashier laughed cuz it was small which I agree with I wanted to get a big bag, but I don’t wanna spend the money rn. But I can’t tell if she was making fun

I always feel odd going to the store because I am not Asian(Black), but there are certain things I can’t get from other stores and it’s significantly cheaper than others… I am now rambling I think🤦🏾‍♀️

IM BLACK TOO TRUST it’s so much fun- I’m way too into international ingredients ^^ like where am I gonna find mushroom soy sauce? Or Napa cabbage or cheap ass dumplings.
