why are old people so obsessed with hitting children? whenever i tell an old person i work with kids, they always ask “do you ever just want to smack them upside the head?” like no? that thought has never once entered my brain while at work

Because they’re very much like the crabs in the bucket, always pulling down everyone they can… “I was abused, so you need to be abused.” No healing was done, and it’s sad.
