ur right and i want to have a convo with him about it … i just dont know how it’ll go, i dont want to change him as a person obviously i love him but for ex we were at a restaurant that has food from around the world and i started talking about how thats super interesting and all he had to say was “ya its run by college kids” bc i guess he was annoyed by the staff who were just chilling out with their friends (we were the only table)

i say well yeah the main demographic of people working in restaurants are teens/college people and the convo died from there, he noticed i deflated and asked me what was wrong. i said i feel like our interests are mismatched sometimes and he said “well i said the truth so” … ? like what am i supposed to say?
