A tip thats hard at first but the skill comes with time: try to not apply the polish all the way back to the cuticle, if you can help it, it should reach just shy of the cuticle on all sides. Infuriating to learn but youll get the hang of it! I watch her more for the history but she talks a lot ab application too, vintagedusties on yt or tt or reels or whatever is a cool channel

SLAYED. once it dries, next time you shower, it should all come off your skin and look a little less messy. i never worry about how messy i get when painting nails because it will come off skin easily

in the future, they make little covers that are usually silicone to stop you from painting your skin and you can put them on beforehand and peel them off after

Cute !!! I’m so bad at painting my nails so what I like to do is get a nice top coat and when that is fully dry shower with warm water and it should come off your skin easy or if you don’t have time to shower hot water at the sink and a wash cloth works the same !!

Tip: Vaseline around the fingers and then wipe away before it’s dried I do this on my fingers (and on my hairline when I’m redying my hair) so no stains!

I only painted my nails as a kid, but I’m seeing others saying to just shower, which yes also works just as well. If you’re ever in a ‘rush’ use the nail polish remover, but if you have time just shower.

If you’re ever interested I absolutely love press on nails , I get mine from Marshalls it’s like $12 for a nice set (I use celebritips brand) and they last me two weeks , I love press ons bc I love fun designs and I’m awful at nail art and when i use normal polish it chips so fast

Another random tip is to try multiple nail polish brands until you find your fave ! Lots of companies have different brush types and you might like one better. My fave is the sally Hansen insta dry because instead of being straight across the brush has a curved edge and it’s a little thicker than some polish brushes which I really like
