My Profesor is requiring me to get to the university on break. But I have no car or transportation. We agreed ahead of time that I could take the test on Friday but the school was closed that day do to weather. He says if I can't get there I will fail.

no, he's 1000% being an asshole. have u tried reaching out to ur advisor or someone for accommodation services? my uni had like a student union type who we could reach out to if we were clashing with our professor

that's actually insane??? like its not ur fault the school was closed the day you could take the test and there's so many students that might not have reliable transportation like that ✋💀 im sorry, thats so fucked up

Thank you for validating me at least. The original day of the test was impossible with my schedule so we both mutually agreed I could take it Friday.

girl of course, like you've been doing everything you can do to take the test, it's not like ur CHOOSING not to ur schedule just doesn't allow for it and that happens sometimes. Like what about other students who might have work or kids they gotta take care of and can't take the test that day? like the lack of flexibility from ur professor and uni is actually lowkey pissing me off

Okay thank you. Just email them the situation? I may have to find a way to show up anyway but I feel like it's ridiculous that he expects me to come in during break, waste my time and somehow find a ride. He said if I can't come in I'll get a serve penalty and have to drop the class…. Like its so easy to let me take the exam after break or provide accommodations.

X professor and I previously agreed I would take my final on X day but because of the weather I wasn't able to come in. accomodations/ assistance but have been having a hard time communicating with them as well. X professor said that I'd get a severe penalty and will have to drop the class if I don't come in. Is there anyway you could help me resovle this issue"
