Well, just think about basic demographics and geography. Europeans make up less than 10% of the illegal population. Most Europeans have overstayed visas rather than entering illegally, again you gotta think about the distance and geography between us and Europe. On the other hand, those from Mexico and Central America account for over 60% of the illegal population. Obviously, they have had easier access to the southern border than Europeans.

There are Europeans being deported but because they do not make up a large portion of the illegal population, you likely aren’t going to see them being highlighted. It’s a simple fact that people from Mexico and Central America are the primary illegal populations. It’s not that they are being “targeted” it’s just that they are the majority. It’s kinda just a fact over feelings kinda thing.

you calling them "illegal population" tells me everything i need to know. overstaying your visa counts as being in this country illegally. When it comes to geography, it doesn't really make a difference, there's a lot of people who lose their lives coming accross the literal ocean in tiny ass boats hoping for a new life here. Uhhhh yeah I literally referred to Europeans as being a part of the illegal population. I think you missed that. I was referring to the methods in which people enter or end up illegally in this country. Not sure what other terminology you are looking for. They’re illegal immigrants…

I don’t think you understand how legal immigration works and I encourage you to perhaps do some research. Supporting wanting to be aware of who is crossing your borders and living in your country isn’t racist it’s just being responsible. You can’t assume that every person has good intentions. I feel that you are just trying to fight facts with feelings considering you think my statistics are fake even though a simple google search would show otherwise.

just because not everyone who comes to another country might not have good intentions doesnt mean the current system is working. This post is about raising awareness to the unfairness minority groups are facing because of ice. ice has been known to target specifically minnorities no matter if they are immigrants or not and you decided to make a comment "educating" that not all immigrants are minorities when that's literally not the point of this post at all, like read the room next time idk

I’m not saying I agree entirely with the current system but I am in favor of supporting legal immigrants and deporting those who aren’t. Again, when the majority of illegal immigrants are people of color, it’s not targeting. It’s just that those are the demographics of people who make up that population. I don’t know how else to explain that to you. Also as a side note, I’d argue that this is a conversation about race when the OP compared ICE to the KKK… that person knew what they said.
