Honestly I’ve just had to accept that I don’t have to like it to get it done. It took a little bit to built the mindset up, but I always remind myself that I never regret getting up and moving. It’s more about building the habit to the point where I don’t feel like I have to be excited to be able to do it. Do I like washing my hair every day? No. Do I like brushing my teeth every day? No. But I feel better when it’s done so I do it

Find things you like. For example I hate the gym environment so I walk, hike and do yoga

Working up to it helps. I have been off and on with the gym since highscool and I always found that finding some to get lost in while working out helps especially on days or just went I feel no motivation to be there. Like I’ll happily listen to a D&D podcast and lose track of time

walking, pilates vids and strength workout vids all make me feel 20x better than i felt before doing the workouts so i continue doing them. it's a few weeks of forcing urself, and def start w shorter workouts (something is better than nothing), but eventually it'll become a habit

I do not like any of it is the problem. I like riding my bike when it’s nice out but it is not nice out

I also don’t like walking just to walk or biking just to bike. if I ride my bike to meet my friend at the beach or to avoid parking at the farmers market it’s good but just biking to bike I cannot. it’s so bad like I’m just terribly lazy

You don’t like any sort of physically activity?

I also hate all of it (believe me I’ve tried everything) but I forced myself to make it a habit and it worked perfectly for months, never skipped but as soon as I gave myself a break I never went back..

Same with eating like the day I give myself a cheat day I can’t get back

don't see it as an optional activity, see it as something as necessary as showering and eating and eventually you'll find which exercise makes u feel best

That’s me too. Especially at home workouts I struggle but I feel great after

another way to “force” yourself to work out, is to create a space where u can’t make excuses. “aw man i don’t wanna clean an area for me to exercise, so i wont” make sure the area ur gonna use is always clear and have ur exercise tools ready so u can just make urself jump right in with no excuses

i find that this really helps me as well. another thing i do is use a calendar to mark the days i workout. i don’t like the idea of not filling out a checkbox so it sortve motivates me to work out so i can check off a box. sorry for the yap and i hope u figure out something that works for you

You really couldn’t have said it any better! Motivation comes and goes so never rely on that. Make it your habit, include it in your daily routine, and be disciplined. Working out is basically tearing your muscles down. It hurts, it’s uncomfortable, and nobody likes it but remember why you do it. You do it to be healthy, have a good body, build confidence, etc. always remember why you’re doing it.
