I just called the dermatology/plastic surgery office in my town about getting an appointment to see why I keep getting such huge deep pimples on my face and back (and they hurt) and they told me that I have to have a referral from my primary care

Doctor and even then it’s a 6-12 month wait list, and on top of that it’s about a 3 month wait to get in with my primary. I hate this place so much

Like I’ve started taking the pointy tool thingy from those nail care kits and poking into them just to try and relieve some pressure. I know that’s really bad for my skin but it’s better than having freaking marbles under my skin

go to ur pcp and ask for a referral, they might be able to get u someplace that can see u a lot sooner who are accepting new patients more readily

There’s only two dermatologists in my town and they aren’t even in my town, they’re 45 minutes away. And I can’t get in with my primary for at least three months :(

I have a feeling she’s just going to try and put me on birth control but the only time birth control worked for my acne was when I had the arm implant and I was taking the pill at the same time and I got completely off both almost two years ago after I had my tubes removed so I’m not going back on it. I have a feeling that this is going to be a very difficult process
