Idk how much you are involved with pro palestine movements but local to me, the pro palestine, black lives matter, and pro immigrant ppl are all working together in solidarity

It doesn’t sit right with me that real human beings are used as performative concepts that privileged white people use to make themselves feel better about their white guilt. If yall truly cared about any of these groups, yall wouldn’t make them trendy one by one. BLM is entirely forgotten, and nothing ever came out of it. Now there’s just memes circulating and it’s not taken seriously

Ppl hating but youre making a really good point here. It can be really hard to distinguish between social movements moving in waves with the hype of the moment without planning for longevity vs them moving performatively with no greater intention rather than the hype
