if you go up to women in public and tell them to stop “looking at your boyfriend” you need to stop doing that insecure shit immediately. this girl interrupted my workout today by yelling at me, meanwhile i’d never even laid eyes on her bf in my life

What kills me is 9 times out of 10, the dude is the ugliest crustiest man in the city but she’s guarding him like a junkyard dog with a bone Like, girl nobody wants that man but you 😒

my whole thing is if you can’t handle going out in public with your man where other people may look at him then don’t go out?? and if you think your bf is so hot why would you be mad if other people think so too anyways

I think it’s a combination of lack of trust and low self esteem/insecurity. Maybe they don’t see the relationship as stable or their partner as loyal so they perceive everything as a threat 🤔

Literally it was always at school dances too where I’d be dancing with my friends, and we’d all be close together so suddenly she thinks I want her ugly ass boyfriend and his hairy lip….I don’t even know why YOU want him bro.

To be fair, he was pretty toxic. He would tell her about all the supposedly more attractive women who approach him just to make her feel insecure. She wasn’t a conventionally attractive girl and he would act like he was doing her a huge favor being with her, just rubbing it in her face. He would also talk about all the better looking women he’d previously slept with (including her old friends) and how he “gave up being a slut for her” I didn’t believe it cuz he was ugly but she sure did 🙄

That was one of the reasons I stopped being friends with her. I’m pretty sure he was cheating on her or at least purposefully lowering her self esteem but she put him on a pedestal. She refused to see how he was manipulative and got angry at her girl friends for trying to tell her. She was a serious pickme (not as just an insult, like a real pickme girl) male attention was her life blood and she was constantly jealous of our one friend with blonde hair (she also ended up being racist lol)

And he was so insufferable! He loved to mansplain and butt in our conversations with irrelevant takes. He had the “umm akshually 🤓” Reddit voice and no charisma whatsoever, but he somehow convinced her that he was the prize! He was literally her entire personality! She had no hobbies or interests outside of him
