Unfortunately it’s about more than just politics now. I don’t care about your politics, but if you support someone who is quite frankly just an awful and hurtful human then I have an issue

People like who they like. I don’t care if someone likes Trump but that doesn’t mean I’m going to be rude to that person even if I don’t like him and think he’s awful. Being rude to people makes you just as bad

No need to be rude about it. This is a big part of what’s wrong nowadays! People are going to believe what they want and if someone with opposing views is rude to them, they’ll have less of an inclination to change.
