there's a term i can't recall for this. it's like "invisible labor" because it's so much more than what's even mentioned. cooking is hard enough for one person, let alone a family with varied diets, nutritional needs, preferences, and schedules that a mom has to consider before even buying the food (which she likely does every time). that alone is something you could get paid a good salary to do for a family, yet it's just expected of mothers. bonkers
