Ok the reason the post you quoted is getting downvoted is because the post they quoted is about codependency. What is meant by “not communicate all day” is basically you can go a day without talking to each other for a good reason (ex: one of you is working and can’t respond) without freaking out about it. Also if he feels unloved because you can’t answer a text in a couple hours for a good reason or just in general, he needs to take that up with a therapist not you.

i find the attachment to phones, texting and the urge/compulsion to be in constant contact to be unhealthy and a waste of energy. if we need to talk we can call or we can visit, but unless we live together there's no reason to force daily conversation. our human brains literally cannot cope with this level of access and contact with distant people, which is part of why many y'all get so upset about it

okay that’s unreasonable and he should be able to be okay to not hear from u in the span of hours. nobody should be that reliant on any one other person for their self worth, it’s not healthy

The entire post was about codependency, that was explained to you multiple times before you turned your comments off. Learn to take the L sometimes

No one saying it isn’t, but having a breaking down or feeling “unloved” because a person can’t respond quickly enough for good reason like a job or having no service is codependency.
